Mayo

Today Aaron and I had sandwiches for lunch. He said the mayo is past the expiration date but he hates to waste two pieces of bread. I've never heard of using sandwich spreads on both pieces of bread. What do you think? When making a bologna sandwich would you spread mayo on one side or two?

Thanks for helping settle this mystery.

Expiration dates are really just sell by dates. I keep using it as long as it isn't funky.
Also, only one side. There is less fat that way and that is how all the restraunts do it.

My Grandparents always used to butter or put spread on both sides of the bread as it sealed it better. It also tasted better that way.
